On 30 June 2005, the main shipping company, A/S Uglands Rederi, celebrated its 75th Anniversary. The shipping activities of The J. J. Ugland Companies are taken care of by A/S Uglands Rederi, Ugland Shipping AS, Ugland Bulk Transport A/S and Ugland Marine Services AS. These companies constitute a professionally managed and fully integrated shipowning and ship management enterprise with all services in-house. In 2004, Ugland Bulk Transport A/S was rated among Norway’s best companies.
