Knowing that our actions affect society in divers ways, and that we also are affected by our surroundings, it is important for JJUC to contribute to creating and maintaining a sustainable shipping environment. This ensures that JJUC can continue our business in a long-term perspective. UN Global Compact gives guidance to the company ambitions and goals into a broader context. Both the Norwegian Government and the Norwegian Shipowners' Association recommend membership in UN Global Compact.
