COVID-19

The covid-19 pandemic has influenced company activities and travel.

The advice and guidance given by the government via the National Health Directorate and FHI including local authorities has been followed. Regular meetings take place, involving the office “vernombud” safety representative, to implement and follow up actions taken and or new actions.

Travel from the office has been greatly curtailed. Crew change has become more complicated especially for the NIS vessels sailing worldwide. Procedures for the managed vessels have been implemented and subject to continuous scrutiny for improvement, and to date no covid-19 cases have been registered onboard or at the office. The pandemic situation is dynamic and is closely monitored and a precautionary approach has been taken.
