Norwegian racing talent Dennis Hauger has had an impressive debut in Indy NXT, level two of American formula car racing.
With a strong second place in the penultimate race of the season, he secured an overall victory in this year's championship. Hauger has won six out of twelve races this season and has been awarded "rookie of the year".
The victory in the championship will give the young driver the opportunity to participate in some of the largest races in the United States, and work is also done behind the scenes to secure Hauger a permanent place in IndyCar, which is the top division.
