The 42,838-dwt bulk carrier, MV Ellenita, was sold and delivered to new owners
The 42,838-dwt bulk carrier MV Ellenita was sold and delivered to new owners on 19 October this year. Built in 1984, she was the oldest vessel in our fleet. The sale is in line with the execution of our bulk fleet renewal strategy. During the last few years 4 supramax newbuildings have been added to the fleet, and another 58,100-dwt newbuilding will be delivered next year. The fleet presently includes 11 supramax bulk carriers, all equipped with self-loading/discharging equipment including grabs.
